For those of you just happening across this blog, you may not want to read on at the moment. The next six days are just ramblings of a Mom trying to go through some changes and get life on track.

I had full intentions of quitting smoking first thing thismorning. However, when I got out of bed I learned that the meat I had thawing for meal prep was very thawed and losing its cool. So right away I got to work on prepping my suppers. I have now made 8 suppers and have them in the deep freeze for those busy days when I don't have time to spend a lot of time cooking. I have 5 left to prep today but I needed a break.
Once I was done prepping the first 8 meals I dyed my hair, had a shower, smoked my last ciggarette and worked out on the wii fit. Now I am already starting to have cravings so I am going to relax on the couch for a bit and watch Matlock. Once Hailee gets home I will get her to help with the kitchen, get supper cooked and finish off the meals I have left to prep.
The reason I am recording all this useless information on my blog is because I needed someone to be held accountable to. I also need a place where I can write down all of my frustrations in one place and look back on it later to see what I have accomplished.

Well I have been at my new job for a week now and I am loving it! There is so much to learn and I come home completely exhausted but it is great!
Last weekend was super busy with Dance pics all day on saturday, cleaning the yard and just everyday stuff. Sunday we headed down to Mom and Dad's to visit Auntie Erin and Aunt Mavis. We all had a great day and even went bowling. Colin and Michelle were also down to test fly Dad's plane so it was great to see them. It has been about 3 years since we saw them last. Sad really when we only live 10 minutes apart.

Okay, so I have been MIA for forever I know. Things have finally settled down here though and I vow to be better at posting.
I started a new job yesterday at Summit Strategies as a receptionist and I am very excited! This may finally be the start of a very promising career for me. Brian and I were looking into selling our house and downsizing but I think we have deicided to wait awhile now.
The kids have been very active in dance this year and I am glad it is finally in the home stretch. Pictures are this weekend and then Hailee starts competitions the weekend after Easter. Not sure how it will work out with my new job and her competing times but hopefully we will manage. I will get some photos on here and updated hopefully this weekend.
In February we headed off for Florida and had a blast! It was a once in a lifetime experience and so worth it! The kids will hopefully always cherish the memories. I Know I will.
Unfortunately scrapbooking has kinda fell to the wayside for me in the last year but I have recently gotten my room organized and I hope to get in there real soon and get back to doing what I used to love. I am expecting a package full of the new Basic Grey lines and a bunch of new Primas today or tomorrow, so maybe that will help in the motivation department.

Hello my friends! I just realised how very long it has been since I left a post on here. My how time flies when you have a full time job! I really do not understand how people have time to work raise their children and have a life. I am trying to learn how to balance all these daunting tasks. I had a hard enough time balancing life while I worked from home and now it just seems endless!
Of course I do not have a lot of time right now either but I am vowing that tuesday I will get on here and catch you all up to speed. Just wanted to let you all know I am still alive and kickin'! Talk to you soon!

Hey there friends, it has been awhile. I don't have a lot of time today but I thought I would jump on here for a few minutes.
My Stampin' Up open house went awesome. I have like $300 in new goodies coming for myself on tuesday and I can't wait to get a chance to play with it all!
My new job at Totem is keeping me very busy. I am struggling to get used to working out of the house full time. To top it all off I have been dealing with doctors and this week a sick kid. I have to work today and tomorrow and then I have 5 days off. I am hoping to get all caught up on house and yard work as well as get a better mental handle on life as it is now. Saturday is Mike and Amy's wedding followed by recital on sunday. I am really looking forward to this weekend just being over. After that we have no real big things on the horizon except Austin's surgery next month. Other than that hopefully things will slow down here to a normal pace and we can figure out how to manage day to day things, lol!
Sorry that my post is just kind of a rant but I will fill you all in a little more when I have more time. Gotta run to work now! Hope you all have a great day!

Yesterday morning just couldn't have gotten much better! I got a call from Totem! I applied there like 3 weeks ago and they finally called! I had my interview yesterday at 3pm. After I hung up the phone it rang again and it was a lady that had seen my ad for my stampin' up open house on kijiji and wants to meet with me to place an order before the party.
I went to work from 12 til 1:30 and then came home to get ready for my interview. I went and it was great! When I got home I ran to the doc and told him I had been having trouble at work and he said I should get a new job. Right after I walked back in the house I got the call and I start my new job friday!! More hours,more money and definitely more what I am looking for!!
Austin and I went and shopped for some jeans and to pick up my meds. He was a holly terror the whole time and when we got home I just went to bed.
Today I am working on openhouse invites, painting benches and painting Austin's room. I think I bit off more than I can chew for one day but, oh well! Talk to ya later!

Stampin' Up!!! I am so excited!!! There are no Stampin' Up demonstrators here in Blackfalds and now there is, Me! Was so great! She really has a nice bridal party! The house looked great and so did the food, lol! There was tons of gifts, laughs and fun for all! Great job Holly, Shauna, Lisa, Hailee and of course Mom!
There were these totally yummy little tarts there that Holly made and OMG they are to die for. I am gonna give it a go and see if I can make them without a recipe. They are a cheese tart baked with red pepper jelly filling and then cream cheese on top. HEAVEN!! Is all I have left to say.......

I have been busy! Today I cleaned the spare room, took Austin to school, ran to town to Home Depot and to apply for a job and now I am trudging away at what is supposed to be my super cool scrap room when I am done! I am pooped out. I decided to take a break from spring cleaning the rest of the house to start on my scrapbook room because believe it or not..... I wanna scrapbook! Yesterday I was all of a sudden in the mood and now I just wanna get to it. However I need to find the room first. I know I still haven't posted pics but I will take some of the spare room and Hailee's new room later to share. You never know I may even get some taken of my scrap room too. I should take some now of the mess so you can all see what I have to overcome, lol!! Talk to you soon.

Ok so I know I am not supposed to be on here without sharing pics of the rearranged rooms, but they are not all cleaned up yet! Still! Ok well my scrap room isn't. Tomorrow I have the day off and my big plan is to get in here and clean!We will see how that goes for me.
Hailee won a gold and a silver medal in dance competition this week! She did such a great job! I am a very proud mommy!
Bad news.... Michelle and Sean's house burned down this week. I feel so bad for them. They are living in a hotel room right now. I am heading up there friday night to help inventory the wreckage so they can start claiming their possessions. I hope the reccession helps with building the house faster.

Sometimes I think I have lost ALL my marbles! Last weekend Hailee told me she wanted my scraproom as her bedroom! I of course had already been thinking I might move Austin back in there, but Hailee? Brian said she had been talking about it to him for weeks though. Anyway, I have had her slaving away all week to clean house and go through things so we could make the move. She has worked so hard, poor little thing and totally earned the move.
So now today here I sit trying to ignore the fact that I am supposed to be moving stuff already....sigh, humm. I have to move my scrap stuff all the way back down stairs again(4 floors). And yesterday came the kicker!
A young gentleman I work with has been looking for a place to live for quite some time now to no avail. This has caused him to move back home to New Foundland where we all no jobs are hard to come by right now. I talked to him and told him he could rent a room here if he wanted. If his parents have not already booked him a flight he is moving in. So now he gets the bedroom, Hailee is moving out of. But..... I get the playroom, which after this week is no longer a playroom, so I have tons of room for scrapping! Now I just gotta plan a crop with my GF's!!! Yay!

Yesterday the kids did awesome with dance pictures! They look so great full custome! Hailee is starting to look so old though and it kinda makes me sad. She is turning out to be a very beautiful young lady. Austin is pretty cute too, I might add. Not that I am biased or anything.

Finally!! I have a weekend off. Sorta.... Tomorrow the kids have dance pictures which are totally spred out for times, and Sunday is my last IT meeting at the store. I am very sad and really not wanting to go, but I know I have to go and say my goodbyes. I think I will have Brian and the kids take me though so I have company for the ride there and back.
Today the sun is out and gorgeous!! There has been so much snow melt today it is crazy. I still seem to be having a downer day though which is ridiculous. I have tried everything to cheer up. Sat outside with a mag and coffee. Went to see a friend, cleaned my room and swapped bedspreads. Opened all my windows and even have candles from Richelle's store burning everywhere. No luck though. Now I am going to turn on my blog playlist and clean up a bit in my scraproom. I am trying to go through things that I don't use or want and listing them on kijiji for sale. I have 5 ads on there so far. No bites yet though. Hopefully soon. It is time to spring clean and the scrap room is high on the list, lol!!

Today is the official first day of spring and the geese are even coming home to prove it! For some reason it seems like this winter has been so long and I really can't wait for all the snow to disappear.
I have been missing for quite a while I know. It has been a really tough month for me. There have been a lot of sad happenings as well as some pretty huge life changes.
Three weeks ago, a friend of mine, that was also one of my previous business partners took her life and left a hole in many others lives. I do hope she has found peace and I am so sorry for all the loved ones she has left behind. I know that I had not been as close to her the last few years and for that I am also sorry, however one of my very dearest friends was very close to her and I hurt for her as well.
I have started a job at the local grocery store in town. With the job comes a lot of hours and one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. At the end of this month I will be leaving Pages In Time. I am afraid I cannot keep up with my new job as well as put all For those of you wondering about me, I will still be here blogging away. I am planning to share more of my work online and maybe even issue a few challenges of my own here for fun.
I do not want to bore you with too many details right now so I will make it short and sweet. Over the next week I hope to have all my own recent work uploaded on my blog and a lot more pictures for you to browse. Expect great things from both the store as well as myself still and keep scrappin!! ;)

Good morning everyone. Hope everyone has been doing well lately! So I have some news!!! My little brother Travis is getting married!! The girl he is marrying is someone we have known for almost our whole lives. When she was little she used to call me her big sister because she is an only child. Now I really get to be her big sister and I am completely thrilled!!
The cool thing is I will never forget when they got engaged because it was the day before mine and Brian's six year wedding anniversary! I guess I should mention that my husban built me a fabulous new folding table in my laundry room for our anniversary. It is exactly what I wanted and it is all decked out right down to the solid oak trim!

Last weekend Katie, Lorraine and I headed to Edmonton to a retailer event and had a blast! We learned some really cool things and the new product coming out is OMG!!! The bank account is going to be a hurting unit for awhile I'm thinkin'. This is one of the projects we made. You can see more on the store's blog.

Yesterday Hailee turned 10. I can't believe my little girl has "double digits" as she would say. I am feeling a little old today. She got spoiled as always. We bought her 2 new outfits, a DS case, a laptop and a computer game. Austin gave her 2 singstar games for the PS2. Friday night she has 3 friends coming for a sleepover and saturday the rest of the family is coming for cake and gifts. Here are a couple of pics from lastnight. I fooled around with some of my cake decorating tools. I think it is a good thing I am signed up to take the classes this month, lol!

Ok at the request of many I also took some pictures of one of my hermies yesterday. This is Slater. I don't think he was overly excited about my camera flash but oh well. The other one is sparky. Sparky is a little shy though. As for the rest of my crabs, I am not sure where any of them are. They have all dug holes in the tank and are hiding. I am not sure if this means they are all ready to molt or what. In fact the other night I dug them all up to check on them and I still haven't found one of them. It is my smallest one so I am sure he is there somewhere.

Lastly I have decided to make a huge change in my life. I have recently quit at the after school program and today is my last day babysitting. Monday I start work at the local grocery store. They did not know how many hours I would have to start with but my 1st week I already have 30 hours! This is the first time in six years I have actually worked outside of the house away from my kids. It is going to be a big change, but I think it will be for the best. Think that is all I have to say for now. If you made it to the end of my post kudos to you!!LOL!!

Happy Family Day weekend!

I hope everyone had a great Valentine's day yesterday! I know I did Brian brought me a dozen pretty pink roses! Today we are heading out to Mom and Dad's for a bbq roast and a visit. Also gonna stop at the store and plan IT kits. Had to add Brian's new favorite song to my playlist. It is Hate my life by Theory of a deadman. Please excuse the language. Pretty funny actually. It kinda makes you happy even though it is a hate song. Good beat though.
Last week we had a family tradgedy. Herman, my very favorite hermit crab passed away and left us for the sea in the sky. It made me panic so I went out and bought all new soil, toys and food for my hermies. That is 2 that I have lost in two weeks. The only thing the pet experts can think of is that I was using all sand instead of a mix. Well, it's a mix now!!

Grande Prairie was great! Baby Tanaya is getting so big! Michelle and I had a blast and it was so much fun to see Gord and Shauna! Ginger and Horace became fast friends. Horace is a monster of a bulldog and my little girl held her own pretty good. I shoulda took pics though.

We are off to Grande Prairie today to visit some of our dear friends! I am so excited, I will finally be able to hold and cuddle Tanaya! She is hardly a baby anymore! Jasmine and Damian are growing up so much that I am sure it will shock me! Can't wait to see Michelle of course!! Tonight we are going to stay with Gord and Shauna and the kids and then will head to Beaverlodge in the morning! Brian bought a new truck this week so we are gonna try it out. He even took part of monday off to drive home so Michelle and I could get in more coffee time together! Isn't he sweet?! Will post pics of our adventure on monday as soon as we are home! I hope everyone had a great weekend! I know I did. After reading my post the other day I realised just how busy I have been. I have given my notice at the after school program to spend more time at home with my family and on my other 2 jobs. I am still going to work until the end of February in order for them to find someone else. Saturday Brian and I went to town to test drive a truck and came home with a puppy!!!
I have been wanting this puppy for weeks now and she is finally mine. Our house has now grown by 8 hermit crabs and a puppy all in the last month! I guess I should be all good to go now. I have been feeling like I needed something else lately and Ginger is just the ticket. Being home more will definitely be good for that. The kids LOVE her and she is so smart. She can already fetch and we have only had one accident in the house so far. I am going to town today or tomorrow to buy her a sweater though. She has such short hair she freezes outside.
Yesterday I downloaded a virus into my laptop so my computer work is taking a bit longer today. I am hoping to get a bunch of pics of my scrapbooking stuff taken and loaded on here this week though. Talk to you all agian soon!

With all the craziness around me I did not realize it had been so long since I updated my own blog. January has been the busiest month I have had so far with very few days off. I have been working on my Level 1 childcare course as well as my 3 jobs. I will update more on my crazy life later, but I wanted to share a card I did this morning. Whew! The holidays are over!

Wow! What a couple of weeks it has been. Christmas concerts, birthdays, Christmas and New Years coming. I am exhuasted with all the excitement that has been going on in our lives.
Austin's birthday was fabulous with a household full of friends, family and food. He got spoiled wrotten as usual and loved it. On his actual birthday we almost couldn't get him to sleep because he was so excited he was going to be 5 finally! That night I was in the middle of cooking his bday cake when my oven blew up. 2 days before Christmas!! I might also mention, Christmas was being held at our house! The birthday was saved though, I had a banana cake in the freezer so we put candles on it and had that.
Our oven did not get fixed in time for Christmas and the part is so stinkin expensive it's crazy! This week hopefully they can get it in and we can cook normally again. Dear friends of ours went to Saskatchewan for Christmas and let us use their oven for cooking our turkey. Thank you Justin and Anna for saving our holiday feast!!
Christmas day was perfect! Hailee got up at 3am and waited til 5:30 to come upstairs. I was awake so we waited til 6 to wake up Dad and Austin. Hailee got a beautiful doll house and Austin got a train table so they were pretty pumped. The family was great, the food was better and by 6pm I was ready for bed.
I of course got spoiled as well with a tripod for my camera, jammas, scrap stuff, a hand knit sweater, a purse, jewellery, perfume and so much more.
I was supposed to babysit for New Year's eve but got cancelled on, so now Brian, the kids and I are going to stay home, order in and play the wii. New Year's day we are going to go to Mom and Dad's for Chinese food. I hope everyone else is having as great a holiday as me!

I have missed you all so! Things have been awful around here lately and I just haven't had the time to post. I have taken on a 3rd job, yes I said 3rd, joined and quit Jenny Craig because it made me sick and started smoking again. It has been a year and a half and I broke. Not to worry though, I am gonna jump right back on the wagon as soon as I get through the rush of Christmas. The road to hell is paved with bad decisions isn't it?
All the Christmas shopping is done and the house is decorated. Groceries are bought and Austins birthday has been celebrated. I am looking so forward to the Christmas break and thank goodness it is here as of tomorrow. We have all even been sick already so hopefully Christmas is safe.
Things are moving right along as far as the store and new DT go and I can't wait to have my first month end meeting with the girls. I am very excited to see all of their new work. I have been scrapbooking up a storm at home, finishing of gifts, making calendars and working on stuff for the store.
I hope you are all fine and well. I will try and get some photos uploaded on here tomorrow with pics of the kids and what I've been working on. Talk to you all real soon!

Well it is almost Christmas time. I have been so busy lately and there has been so much going on in my life. I have recently taken on another day a week at the after school program, our Dt will be announced later today, there has been crops and work at the store. Stuff to do never slows down at home and then to top it all off I was in an accident last weekened and wrecked my new car.
Thankfully the kids and I were all okay as we got side swiped by a tour bus last weekend in Stettler. I cried as I tried to tell the police my story and let me tell you, the lady officer was none to friendly. That sorta peeved me off as it was the bus driver's fault and my car was the only one wrecked. Then the next day I find out that this is the second accident that bus has been in in less than a week! Now I am just waiting for an insurance adjuster to come and check the damages on my car. The brother in law doesn't think the damage will be too bad. I just hope that the bus driver has to pay for my damage in the end. So in the mean time I am back to driving the Lincoln. Oh yay!
The crop was last weekend and even though it was a smaller group than normal it was perfect. I got 8 layouts and 4 cards done and even got to play with my new slice machine.
Tuesday Brian was off work so he and I cleaned out the livingroom upstairs, moved a bunch of furniture steamed carpets and rearranged both livingrooms. Brian also completely gunged the kitchen for me and scrubbed the floors. I got all the laundry caught up and bathrooms scrubbed. It was awesome.
The new DT for the store has been chosen and this term I will not be on the DT. Katie and I have decided to not be team members but to actually spend more time training and helping the girls as well as more time testing new tools and such. I am pretty excited. I am still running the team though.
My Christmas shopping is almost done with a few things left to buy Austin and I still have to do Brian but other than that I am done. I hope everyone else is doing well. I have to run and cook lunch and then off to hole up in my scraproom for the rest of the day! Ciao!!;)

I guess it has been awhile since I have been on here huh? Well where should I start? For the last month I have had a new room mate and between fighting for computer time with him, work, DT, house cleaning, kids, babysitting, thanksgiving and my computer crashing on me, oh and my new baby nephew I have been a busy gal!

Okay so first I will share about the new baby nephew. His name is Ryker Dwight Quance and he is the most perfect little man I have ever seen. Next to my little man of course. He has a head full of black hair and he is just so sweet. His Daddy couldn't get the smile off his face if he was hit with a 2x4 and his Mommy looks great for just having a c-section. So not fun.

Also my dear sweet friend Michelle had a baby last month and I am dying to get up to Grand Prairie to see her in person. Brian has talked about taking days off but he needs someone to cover for him. They are doing well and she is absolutely precious. I have a shopping problem when it comes to baby girls, so I am sure Tanaya will appreciate me a lot. LOL!

Last weekend I bought a new car. I bought my Mother in Laws 2005 Ford 500. I LOVE it! I love everything about it. It took a month of arguing with Brian about all the reasons I needed a new car, but in the end I won and I am now driving my super sleek, super sexy black car.

Last weekend for Thanksgiving we went to the farm. It was such a nice family gathering. Grandpa and Dorothy even made it so we were all there. The weather was great and we got some gorgeous family photos out in the coulees.

Today was crazy. I dropped the boys off at school at noon. Drove to Stettler to meet Katie at 12:45 to look at a location for our super huge, super cool spring scrapbooking event. Back to Blackfalds for 2:50 to pick up the kids, to Red Deer to meet the anestethiologist that got moved without me knowing. Back to Blackfalds for a 5:50 chiropractor appointment. Now, here I sit totally beat and playing the computer.

The week I turned 30

So I am officially 30. Have been for a week, and yes I do feel older. Earlier this week I noticed I am getting more grey hair, less patience, and tire more easily. It has been a hellish week though so that may have something to do with it.
On tuesday I decided to move the kids bedrooms around. Not just around, up and down levels in our house. My scrapbook room has moved from the fourth lower floor to the top floor. It was a long day of grunting and pain, but it is done now. I think this will work out better in the end. I will post pictures later.
Last weekend I had my very eventfull birthday. A family member went missing for awhile. Then my parents stopped to see me, Kandess was here playing ball in a tournament for the weekend. Family member was found. Brian was horridly sick. Brian and the kids went to the store and bought a cake and some decorations. We all went to watch Kass play ball and before the game even really got going Brian got called out to work. Kass and her friend Shawn helped the kids with the cake and decorations. For supper I took the kids to town, we bought movies and KFC and came home to have supper and veg in our beds watching movies. Guess it is just another day, lol.
I have bought myself numerous bday gifts this week to make up for it though. Brian told me I better stop now though, lol. Darn it!!
Today I am headed to town for groceries and to seek out the new Rock Band II for Hailee for Christmas. I am also going to stop at Toys R Us to buy a train table for Austin if they have one. Then both of the kids large gifts are bought and I can relax.
After school I think we will go to Stettler to plan this months DT kits and visit a few people. We will see how the day goes. I wanted to head for GP to see Michelle and baby this weekend but I think we will have to wait a few more weeks. I need to get some scrappin done before all my deadlines are here.

Ok so school is back in and all I can say is HOORAY!!! Yesterday was Austin's first day so now both the kids are back. So far Hailee loves her new teacher and is quickly getting to know other kids and make new friends. Austin had a major meltdown yesterday but hey, what else seems to be new?! He is going to go anyways! LOL!

Friday I had gone to town with Lisa to do some last minute shopping and we went to Old Navy. They had the cutest Halloween costumes ever so I just had to get one for Austin. Of course it is now filthy because he came home and had to put it on and wear it all night. Oh well he is so cute in it I don't really care.

Last weekend we had the crop and it was so awesome. There is always such a great group of women at our events and I always leave feeling kinda sad that the weekend is over yet so exhausted it needs to be over, lol!

I also got to spend the weekend with Richelle. It has been pretty hard on the two of us living an hour apart when we used to see each other every other day. We had a sleepover for the weekend and I love spending time with her and her family so much. We even got a picture of us together for once.

I even got some scrapping done. I still have to add photos but I think I am going to use these for my calendars for Christmas. I have like 50 some MME kits put together so I thought I better get using them before the new release comes out. I find this seems to be another company I collect rather than use. I am pretty happy with how they turned out though.

Not sure why. I am SOOOO EXCITED!!! Tonight in about 2 1/2 hours I am headed to the store to meet Katie and Richelle to set up for the crop this weekend. Had to rope Richelle into helping me as I begged her for a slumber party, lol! Lisa was unable to find a sitter so I a not staying in a hotel and therefor needed a place to crash. Good thing my Cuz loves me.
I have yet to start packing though. I have my clothes packed, the door prizes packed, clothes for Elliot that are to small for Austin packed, cupcakes made and packed, but I have not packed a single scrapbooking item. I just don't know what I want to take. It has been awhile since I have not worked on a project for the store, or a class or something to that effect. I am just struggling to focus on my own projects. I think maybe I should work on my calendars though. Enough of that.
Today I went to Old Navy and bought Austin his halloween costume. It is so freakin' cute. Or should I say stinkin' cute?! It is a skunk!! On the bum there is a little heart that says lil' stinker. I took pics of him in it already but I will have to upload them on sunday or monday when I get back.
Ok off to try and pack. See you all after the weekend. I am sure I will have tons of stories to share.

Wow it has been awhile since I have posted! I have been so busy lately that I just haven't had the time to sit down and get my blog all caught up. Almost time for the kiddies to go back to school and I am so excited!! Found out today that Austin is in the afternoon class! Yay! So now I got my wish and should be able to find some me time every afternoon after he goes to school! I am in very desperate need of it let me tell ya.

Been a little down in the dumps this week and I am not sure why. I love this time of year, I have been kept super busy, kids are almost back to school;( Just not sure. Today I started gunging the house though and maybe once that is done and we can get a routine going I will be better.
Last weekend I had the DT meeting at the store and the girls continue to amaze me. I made an absolutely huge exciting announcement that you will have to check the store blog for. The store is now full of all the new inspiration once again.
After the meeting I headed out to Dad and Mom's to do cattle. It was just me, Dad, Travis, Trey, Kandess, Christine and Charity. It was kinda nice that it was Dad and his kids. Everything went rather smooth, but, of course Trey got ran over, Kandess hurt her hand, Travis was the boss (lol) and I thought I broke my arm. Of course I can't ever go a year without thinking I have broke something. Although this year I really thought I did. I even went to the ER lastnight finally because it had started to hurt worse. Not broke. Typical. Drama Queen Extraordinare.

Austin got stung by a bee. Scary, gonna have to watch out, think he may be allergic poor little duffer. Here he is with his owie. Thank goodness the swelling only lasted 2 days. Made me want to cry every time I looked at him.

Tuesday we went to Katie's for a meeting of the minds, and her birthday! Today is her real birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!! Did the whole gift and cake thing. It was an awesome day. Hailee and Hunter decided they were having a sleepover so the boys thought they should have one too. What an ordeal! Austin was going to stay and when I went to leave... Major Meltdown! Cody was a trooper though so he came and stayed at our house.

Yesterday we tried Martial Arts with the boys. Cody did great and Austin, well... That is a whole other story. Today I signed him up for dance though. So we shall see. It is now way past my bedtime though so I am gonna head for bed and I will chat again really soon! Don't forget to check the store's blog tomorrow for all the latest and greatest!

So today I have holed up in the basement because upstairs feels like a sauna. It is good though because I needed to get some work done on the computer. I have been working on blogs most of the day. Class prices and descriptions, you know all that jazz. This afternoon I did find some time to add pics to a few of the layouts I have been working on though so here they are.

All I can say is wow! I have such great friends! All last week I roasted away in the heat and cleaned house trying to prepare for my 1 year smoke free weekend!

Thursday morning I went into the city to fill out all my papers to start my afterschool program job in September. Came home for lunch, went to Stettler to plan DT kits, came home for supper, and went to the city again for groceries for friday.

Friday my phone didn't stop ringing all day I am sure! I talked to everyone under the sun and then some. I even found out my BFF Shelley is coming to see me this week sometime AND I am a bridesmaid in her wedding next summer!

Friday night Richelle came to spend the night so we drank coffee and chilled out in the hot tub. LOL! That sounds kinda contradictory hey? Anyways it was great.

Saturday morning we headed into Red Deer and did a little shopping. The back home to get ready for my Silpada party. Let me tell you if you ever have a chance this is the partyu to have! I was alittle worried about the turn out but it ended up being fabulous!!! We all had a great afternoon of visiting, cool drinks, food and best of all the coolest jewellery around! I can't wait to get my order!

Saturday night Leanne,Richelle, Katie and Lisa stayed to scrap the night away. Some of the girls, huh hmmm wanted to go out and get tatooed and couldn't get in the scrapbook frame of mind. We headed into Starbucks instead and then with our coffee fix taken care of headed home to get scrapping. I got 1 layout done and I think the other girls all did about the same. Off to bed around 1am to be ready for another full day Sunday.

Sunday morning Louise and Jennifer joined us and we had a blast! I handed out goodie bags to everyone and they all gave me house warming gifts. They are all really sooo great! Can't wait to get together and do it again next year!

Well I had a great weekend off this weekend. Hailee and Austin went camping with Brian's Mom and Dad so we got to date all weekend. Friday night we dropped the kids off and then just came home for a hot tub and went to bed. Saturday we had morning coffee, puttered around a bit, picked up my wedding rings that are finally fixed and found after 2 years, shopped a little, went for a picnic lunch and then went golfing all afternoon. It was probably the nicest day we have had together for ages. We talked and laughed and just had a great time.
When we were done golfing we had to run Austin's clothes he forgot in the car to the lake. We visited for a few minutes but then headed back on our date to go out for supper. After supper we came home and hot tubbed in the cool air again and to bed.
Sunday morning we got a call that the kids were coming home early, which kinda changed our plans but oh well. We packed a cooler, loaded the car and were ready to head off to Discovery Canyon when the kids got there. I came to a quick realization that my next goal needs to be my "healthy size" so that I can enjoy playing with the family more.
Yesterday Richelle came to Red Deer with the kids to go back to school shopping. I ran in to town, we had lunch, stopped at Michael's and Chapter's and then came home for coffee. While she was here I showed off my new scrap space and showed her the goody bags for this weekend! I am so stinkin excited I can hardly wait!
2 more days until 1 year cigarette free and only 4 days until my Silpada party and weekend crop with a few of the girls and the DT. I am so looking forward to it!!!
On a more neutral note, the kids had eye appointments today and neither one needed glasses, Yay! I have Katie's daughter Hunter and her sister Lori here for the night, so, I think I might settle them in for the night and do some scrap booking. Let you know tomorrow how that went for me.

But still not done!This morning we got a shower and now I am shut down until Monday again. I have about 3 days left in the Field so next week I hope we can just get it done! Things have been pretty boring around here this week, Monday I headed off to Mom and Dad's and just got home today. After I got home we took the kids to the lake to camp with Brian's parents for the weekend. I am sitting here a little nervous though because we are having an awful storm and I am worried about the kids.

Thought I better get pics of my scrap room on here though before my pregnant friend has a fit and goes into early labor, lmao wanting to see them! So without further adieu, here they are...

Gone that is, lol! Today I was supposed to head back out to the farm to cut hay but it rained so now I am waiting for the orders to come out. Dad thought he should give me the weekend off though so we'll see. I have kicked the kids outside to play and have holed up downstairs in the scrapbook room to try and get things a little more organized. I think I will probably turn on the tunes here right away and get at it. I am dying to get back to work on my samples for the fall retreat! Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe long weekend!

Well I guess it was only a matter of time before I had to jump in and give this blog thing a try right! After all, all the cool kids are doing it, lol! It may take some time to figure everything out though so please bear with me.
We have now been in the new house for 3 and a half weeks and are starting to feel more at home. Richelle helped us move in and like mad women we had the place unpacked by 6pm that day! Leanne was here to help too and we really couldn't have done it without either onre of them! Thank you girls, you really are great friends;)
I have been trying to help get the hay cut for Dad and it keep raining or breaking down so we still have about a week to go. I can't wait to get done and move on to the rest of summer.
This Sunday was my last day working in the store and now I feel pretty sad. It is time to move on though and I still have so much to do for the store it is awesome! I have been spending some time today getting ready for the crop in September as well as the retreat in October. I have contacted some wonderful companies about door prizes and I really think these will be two of our greatest events ever!
I better head off for now though, time to change the laundry and check on supper! Hope to update you all again real soon!
