Hello Strangers!

Okay, so I have been MIA for forever I know. Things have finally settled down here though and I vow to be better at posting.
I started a new job yesterday at Summit Strategies as a receptionist and I am very excited! This may finally be the start of a very promising career for me. Brian and I were looking into selling our house and downsizing but I think we have deicided to wait awhile now.
The kids have been very active in dance this year and I am glad it is finally in the home stretch. Pictures are this weekend and then Hailee starts competitions the weekend after Easter. Not sure how it will work out with my new job and her competing times but hopefully we will manage. I will get some photos on here and updated hopefully this weekend.
In February we headed off for Florida and had a blast! It was a once in a lifetime experience and so worth it! The kids will hopefully always cherish the memories. I Know I will.
Unfortunately scrapbooking has kinda fell to the wayside for me in the last year but I have recently gotten my room organized and I hope to get in there real soon and get back to doing what I used to love. I am expecting a package full of the new Basic Grey lines and a bunch of new Primas today or tomorrow, so maybe that will help in the motivation department.

Been awhile!

Hello my friends! I just realised how very long it has been since I left a post on here. My how time flies when you have a full time job! I really do not understand how people have time to work raise their children and have a life. I am trying to learn how to balance all these daunting tasks. I had a hard enough time balancing life while I worked from home and now it just seems endless!
Of course I do not have a lot of time right now either but I am vowing that tuesday I will get on here and catch you all up to speed. Just wanted to let you all know I am still alive and kickin'! Talk to you soon!

Hey there friends!

Hey there friends, it has been awhile. I don't have a lot of time today but I thought I would jump on here for a few minutes.
My Stampin' Up open house went awesome. I have like $300 in new goodies coming for myself on tuesday and I can't wait to get a chance to play with it all!
My new job at Totem is keeping me very busy. I am struggling to get used to working out of the house full time. To top it all off I have been dealing with doctors and this week a sick kid. I have to work today and tomorrow and then I have 5 days off. I am hoping to get all caught up on house and yard work as well as get a better mental handle on life as it is now. Saturday is Mike and Amy's wedding followed by recital on sunday. I am really looking forward to this weekend just being over. After that we have no real big things on the horizon except Austin's surgery next month. Other than that hopefully things will slow down here to a normal pace and we can figure out how to manage day to day things, lol!
Sorry that my post is just kind of a rant but I will fill you all in a little more when I have more time. Gotta run to work now! Hope you all have a great day!

More good news!

Yesterday morning just couldn't have gotten much better! I got a call from Totem! I applied there like 3 weeks ago and they finally called! I had my interview yesterday at 3pm. After I hung up the phone it rang again and it was a lady that had seen my ad for my stampin' up open house on kijiji and wants to meet with me to place an order before the party.
I went to work from 12 til 1:30 and then came home to get ready for my interview. I went and it was great! When I got home I ran to the doc and told him I had been having trouble at work and he said I should get a new job. Right after I walked back in the house I got the call and I start my new job friday!! More hours,more money and definitely more what I am looking for!!
Austin and I went and shopped for some jeans and to pick up my meds. He was a holly terror the whole time and when we got home I just went to bed.
Today I am working on openhouse invites, painting benches and painting Austin's room. I think I bit off more than I can chew for one day but, oh well! Talk to ya later!

My new career!

Stampin' Up!!! I am so excited!!! There are no Stampin' Up demonstrators here in Blackfalds and now there is, Me! Friday May 1st is my first open house and I would like to extend an invitation to any and all of you to come. It is from 4-9pm at my house and it is sure to be a blast! From 4-6 I will serve coffee, tea and sweets and from 6-9 I will be serving wine and cheese. Amy's Bridal Shower

Was so great! She really has a nice bridal party! The house looked great and so did the food, lol! There was tons of gifts, laughs and fun for all! Great job Holly, Shauna, Lisa, Hailee and of course Mom!
There were these totally yummy little tarts there that Holly made and OMG they are to die for. I am gonna give it a go and see if I can make them without a recipe. They are a cheese tart baked with red pepper jelly filling and then cream cheese on top. HEAVEN!! Is all I have left to say.......
